GOOD SAMARITAN FUND Monetary assistance for those who come to the church requesting help as well as supporting community assistance programs.
NURSING HOME WORSHIP Minsters at Shady rest and Evans Healthcare on Sunday mornings. Tuesday morning visits are made to other facilities. Volunteers serve once a month.
COMMUNITY COOPERATIVE MINISTRIES Partnering with local churches, children are fed breakfast each morning. Hot, nutritous meals are prepared by volunteers and provided to the eldering in connection with Meals on Wheels. Volunteers also pick up surplus food from various local markets for the food pantry of the Soup Kitchen which feeds disadvantaged working families.
MEDICAL EQUIPMENT ROOM Donated walkers, canes, wheelchairs, potty chairs and other medical equipment are available and borrowed as needed.
LEE LITERACY A ministry of teaching reading to all ages. Also offered is a class in "English for Speakers of Other Languages". Classes are available for training teachers.
HOMELESS MINISTRY Showers and continental breakfast are offered once a week. A two day change of clothes are washed during the shower period and available for pickup. Clothes are also available if needed. At the time of the showers there is a prayer group available and usually a speaker of some sort.
BICYCLE MINISTRY Donated used bikes are refurbished and are available upon completion of 8 hours community service. A letter is needed from the agency showing that the eight hours have been completed. The bikes are all registered with the Fort Myers Police Department.
NARCOTIC ANONYMOUS Weekly meetings are available on Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:30.
AL-A-NON Families and friends of alcohol abuse are invited to this support group on Thursday afternoon at 2:00.
EMERGENCY CARE GIVERS Provides assistance with persons needing rides to and from the doctor.
VISUALLY IMPAIRED SUPPORT Works with those who have vision problems
ELDER CARE This group assists with advice in making legal and financial decisions.
AFTER THE RAIN This is a half-way house for women, who have been either court ordered or come of their own free will, to learn how to become useful and productive citizens.
SALVATION ARMY We support this organization both financially and physically with donations of articles, money and volunteer time.
